STEVE LONG ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY FOR HD 81
Steve Long has announced his candidacy to run for Oklahoma’s House District 81 which includes the southeastern part of Edmond.
Steve is an eCommerce specialist in Edmond, Oklahoma and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is a member of St John the Baptist Catholic Church. He and his wife are the proud parents of 3 children, ages 10, 11 and 18.
He has been involved in political activities since 1992 and is the current and outgoing Chairman of the Oklahoma Libertarian Party.
“Partisan politics has been part of the problem in this country and in the State of Oklahoma. While the Republicans and Democrats spend their time seeking for government solutions to the problems that they created, Libertarians like me are looking for market-based solutions that don’t involve government intervention.”
Steve believes that individual liberty of all people is of the utmost important and has made that the centerpiece of his campaign.
“All people, regardless of race, religion, country of origin or sexual orientation have the right to the freedom to live their life the way they see fit without exception.”
